Mini in-ear hearing aids
Mini hearing aids sit inside the ear canal or right at its opening and are almost invisible from a distance. They suit people who still work, socialise a lot and would rather not show an aid. The trade-off: small aids have small buttons, small batteries that need changing or charging more often, and they take nimble fingers to put in and remove. For older adults with shaky hands or weak eyesight, a behind-the-ear model is often easier. When comparing mini aids, check whether several ear tip sizes are included, whether they use button cells or a charging case, and whether there is noise reduction. They help you hear better while worn; they do not cure hearing loss.
